WELCOME TO OUR Fall 2021 Read-a-thon!

Daniel Bagley PTA's first fundraiser of the 2021-22 was a success! We hope that every one of our students had a blast setting up their personal fundraising page, sending out emails, and reading 20 minutes a day. Reading and raising funds to support the school - what a fantastic combination.

Next, all you have to do is make a donation for whatever amount you can, and share your child’s pledge page link with friends and family via your favorite social media platform, text or email. We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small!
 
Here is an example of text to share with friends and family to get their support:
“[Your child's name] is participating in a fundraiser for [her/his] school's PTA by reading 20 minutes a day, and would love your support. If you'd like to donate, you can do so online at the following link: [add your pledge page link].”

Your donation will not count toward a specific student's fundraising campaign.

Acts Of Kindness

  • Make a card for a loved one
  • Give a compliment to another student
  • Help somebody with a homework question
  • Share something with a new friend
  • Draw someone a picture as a gift
  • Create posters about anti-bullying or kindness

Prizes - Kindness Fundraiser

Individual Prizes

  • Every student that sets up their personalized fundraising page and shares via email or social media 4+ times gets one (1) entry into a raffle to win a prize.
  • Prizes will be drawn at the end of the fundraiser.
  • Number of prizes and prize will be determined by the end of the fundraiser.
Grade Level Prizes
  • 2 separate prizes will be given to the grade with the most participation and also to the grade with most money raised.
  • The prize will be a small bag with treats/snacks and small gifts.
  • The grades with the most participation and most money raised will also have their grades' achievement commemorated on the Bagley Kindness Bee Statue. This statue will be prominently displayed at Daniel Bagley Elementary in the office through the school year.
School Level Prize
  • If we meet or exceed the fundraising goal, we will have a virtual movie night sponsored by the PTA.
